■Four sensors check the syringe for proper attachment   to the unit. Accidents due to incorrect attachment are   thus prevented.

■The pressure inside the infusion line is always   monitored and displayed as a trend graph. The   occlusion pressure level for alarm activation can   be selected in the adequate level.

■A numeric key pad is used to input the flow rate   accurately and speedily.

■A lithium-ion battery, which has no memory effect, is   used in the unit. The battery capacity will not   decrease even after repeated charging.

■Operational errors are prevented by the messages   urging the user to check for correct operation at the   beginning of infusion or in priming.
