Combined PET-MRI

PET-MRI is a complex system allowing to perform medical imaging by means of two different techniques used at the same time, Positron Emission Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, the former acquiring information about the metabolic activity of the cells in the examined body part, whose images are taken by the latter at a millimeter scale.
