WASTE WATER STERILISATION

Many production and research facilities produce infectious waste wasters and/or waste water liquids containing geneticall modified organisms. Such process waste waters must be rendered safe and accordingly subjected to documented treatment in order to exclude risks to human health and the environment. 

The patented METEKA System ensures that infectious fluids, which may be generated either continuously or discontinuously, are sterilied in a fully automated manner. The entire process is carried out directly at the place of generation, e.g. in bio-tech or high-risk laboratories, veterinary medicine institutes, animal experimentation facilities or production plants.

The sterilized waste water, which no longer poses any danger, may be discharged into the municipal sewerage system in compliance the legal requirements. Thus, lared volumes of liquids and wste water may be dispoes of in a safe, environmentally friendly, an energy-efficient manner.
