The success story of Magnesium-Diasporal® started in the 1950s. After a period of intensive research and product development, the manufacturer Protina launched the very first Magnesium-Diasporal® roducts: lozenges and injectable solutions. In the 1970s, the popular “classic” Magnesium-Diasporal® 300 granules for oral solution were added to the product range. This is still the only pharmaceutical product in Germany that contains pure magnesium citrate as it is naturally produced in the human body. Therefore, it is biocompatible and rapidly active.
