Polydioxanone (PDE) is a sterile absorbable synthetic monofilament suture composed of polyester polydioxanone. The PDE Suture has been proven to be non-antigenic and non-pyrogenic.
There are two main characteristics of the PDE Sutures which are the tensile strength retention and secondly the absorption rate. The PDE Suture is available dyed in violet from sizes: USP7/0 – USP2.
