Sklar's® Pratt T-Shaped Clamp, also known as Pratt-Smith Grasping Forceps, is a ratcheted, finger ring, grasping instrument typically used in vaginal or perineal procedures for grasping mucosa or hemorrhoidal tissue. The 16cm concave tips of the clamp meet the jaws perpendicularly to create the t-shape that describes them. The serrated jaws provide a strong hold on tissues and may cause damage or crush tissue. The overall length of this instrument is 6 inches.
