A range of nebulisers from Intersurgical
Intersurgical offers a range of nebulisers, kits and accessories for nebuliser therapy.
The Cirrus™2 nebuliser has been designed to minimise the residual volume and reduce drug wastage. At a driving gas flow of 8 L/min, 74% of the volume output will be made up of particles less than 5 microns in diameter with a mass median diameter (MMD) of 3.3 microns.
The HOT Top™2 nebuliser is a new design of “open” nebuliser incorporating twin entrainment ports resulting in high output flows, reduced treatment times and improved patient compliance. HOT Top™2 nebulisers are also available with a Sure Loc™ base. When used with Intersurgical Sure Loc™ tube and adaptor this system provides a secure connection, preventing accidental tube disconnections from the nebuliser and the flow meter. The oxygen tube screws onto the nebuliser base and the other end is connected to the flow meter with an adaptor. The Sure Loc™ tubing can also be used on a standard nebuliser spigot. Sure Loc™ nebulisers also accept standard tubing.
Both the Cirrus™2 and HOT Top™2 nebulisers incorporate the Intersurgical EcoLite™ aerosol mask. This non-PVC mask reduces the environmental impact of this product compared with a conventional mask kit by 28%.
The Micro Cirrus™ nebuliser has been specifically designed to create a small particle aerosol with a (MMD) of 1.2 microns. At a driving gas flow of 8L/min 90% of the particles will be less than 2 microns in diameter to give alveolar deposition.
