SYSTAAQ HIV-1 REAL TIME PCR KIT

SYSTAAQ HIV-1 Real Time PCR Kit is an in vitro nucleic acid amplification system used for quantitation of HIV Type-1 Viral RNA in human serum or plasma. It is a one step real time reverse transcription PCR assay in which RNA templates are first reverse-transcribed to generate complementary cDNA strands followed by DNA polymerase-mediated cDNA amplification. This kit is designed to be used in the treatment of chronic HIV-1-infected patients having an anti-viral therapy to assess the response with all related clinical and laboratory findings. SYSTAAQ HIV-1 Real-Time PCR Kit uses external controls to obtain quantitative results and contains an internal control to check the RNA isolation and amplification.
