Varex 3024M Mammography Detector

The innovative direct capture PaxScan 3024M flat panel detector designed for full field digital mammography (FFDM) has a compact design incorporating a narrow edge and rapid image-acquisition capabilities. These features enable radiologists to acquire images close to the chest wall with results in seconds.  The 3024M architecture is based on amorphous silicon (a-Si) design allowing rapid frame rates for advanced mammographic applications.  The 3024M will help to extend the capabilities of digital mammography into emerging markets where its environmental stability makes it an attractive option over existing technologies.
