Medical Predictive Science Corporation (“MPSC”) is a medical technology company commercializing a continuous and non-invasive monitoring system for the detection of patient infection and other forms of deterioration within the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The Company’s Heart Rate Observation System®, HeRO® , identifies subtle irregularities in heart rate variability occurring hours and days prior to patient deterioration and provides an early warning of patient distress relating to sepsis, necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), urinary tract infection (UTI), and other clinical diagnoses. HeRO allows for the earlier and more accurate initiation of antibiotics when treatment is most effective.
