Activ'M

Activ'M is a transparent self-adhesive silicone dressing composed of a polyurethane film and a thin layer of medical silicone gel.

Compression dressings, made from elastic materials such as medical silicone, hug the scar and exert pressure on the scar to flatten and irradiate it.

The silicone film works by maintaining the skin's moisture thanks to occlusivity. This hydration in turn reduces the capillary activity. Thus, there is reduced production of collagen in the scar and therefore less risk of hypertrophy. The scar is relaxed and flattened with the treatment.

The application of Activ'M silicone patch also helps to reduce the pinkness of the scar and reduce the itching and pain associated.
