The highly effective light source for rigid endoscopy. The illumination of the operating field produced by the unit is comparable to one made by powerful (300 W) xenon light sources. The spectrum of the emitted light is similar to daylight. A small part of the infrared component allows avoiding tissue burns and optical system overheating.
