Osteotomy-sets
During the procedure of this surgical method (e.g. having a hallux valgus or hallux rigidus), the bone at the proximal phalanx of the great toe is grooved and a small wedge is removed. Thus, the great toe can be swiveled / rotated depending on the placement of the wedge removal to improve the alignment and the joint position. For fixation, a titanium screw and a 2-hole plate are offered. In general, this procedure is used having a conversion of the 1st metatarsal bone (e.g. chevron osteotomy, double osteotomy, Youngswick osteotomy).
