Performance & Outcomes
The role of the Performance & Outcomes Service (POS) is to coordinate the development, collection, collation, analysis, and reporting of clinical indicators.
Established in 1989, the ACHS Clinical Indicator Program (CIP) is a data repository, analysis, and reporting service available to international healthcare organisations to support quality improvement initiatives. Through the CIP, ACHS has considerable information on over 300 clinical indicators from more than 850 healthcare organisations in Australia and overseas.
The insights gained from analysis of this extensive clinical performance indicator database allows ACHS to share global trends in healthcare with our international community of member organisations to assist them with continuous quality improvement initiatives of greatest concern.
