QFlu NI Assay Reagents

QFlu NI Assay is a highly sensitive, easy-to-use influenza neuraminidase inhibition (NI) assay, which can be used for antiviral drug susceptibility determination or anti-influenza drug screening. Essentially a one-step assay, the QFlu® NI Assay uses a unique technology called Homogeneous Biochemiluminescence Assay technology; the assay requires no virus titer determination for determination of IC50 values and uses approximately 10 minute manual time. The results are available in 10 to 30 minutes depending on incubation duration favored by the users.

Each kit has sufficient reagents for 20 IC50 determinations, including 20 QFlu Reagent Vials, a bottle of 2X Q-Sample Buffer and a set of positive controls. The positive control set consists of PC-1 containing recombinant flu viral neuraminidase susceptible to Tamiflu® and PC-2 containing recombinant flu viral neuraminidase resistant to Tamiflu®.

The assay can be carried out in multiple single reaction tubes or 96-well plate format. Appropriate luminometer is needed to measure the chemiluminescence.
