REGEN-AG 10 MG/G CREAM

REGEN-AG 10 mg/g cream is an OTC medicine. Active ingredient: silver sulfadiazine 10 mg/g. Product with the most active agent against pathogens in burns infection. REGEN-AG is indicated for prevention and treatment of infections in patients with burns, decubitus ulcers, varicose ulcers, abrasions, minor traumatic lesions, skin grafts. Silver sulfadiazine is a broad spectrum chemotherapeutic agent that combines the antimicrobial effects of ionic silver with sulfadiazine (an antimicrobial sulfonamide). It is the only antiseptic capable to penetrate through the necrotic tissue (destroyed) or through the purulent exudates, acting deeply in the area of the infection. Silver sulfadiazine inhibits the growth and multiplication of microbes without affecting the cells of the skin and the subcutaneous tissue. Good adhesiveness to woundbed, one single application/day, suitable for children over 28 days. Product with the most active agent against pathogens in burns infection.
