RNA Sequencing
RNA Sequencing Transcriptomics is the study of the totality of the gene transcription and the transcriptional regulation laws in the cell. In a broad sense, the transcriptome refers to the set of all transcripts in the cell under certain physiological conditions. In a narrow sense, it refers to the set of all mRNAs. The transcriptome links the genome inherited message with the biological functions. And transcriptome research has become an optimal tool to reveal the regulation of bio growth and development, the stress-resistance adaptation mechanism, biological evolution laws, important mechanisms for disease development and the key molecular targets for regulating the disease gene. In recent years, with the continuous reduction of sequencing cost and increase of sequence output, NGS technologies gradually became an indispensable tool for resolving biological problems with its remarkable advantages such as high accuracy, high throughput, high sensitivity and low operation cost.
